Overview #

The Digital Warehouse shows what stock you have available. Each item is a product from your catalog at one of your locations, with a quantity, an availability status and its item IDs. Adding items is included on Pro and Premium, and you decide who can see them: make a warehouse public, keep it private, or share it with selected partner companies.

Availability can be In stock, Ready to ship, Backorder (within 2 weeks), Backorder (within 6 weeks) or On demand / made to order.

Plans #

Free and Basic can view warehouses that other companies make public or share with them. Adding your own items is included on Pro (up to 100 items) and Premium (no limit), and both can keep a warehouse public, private or shared with selected partners. Searching other companies’ warehouses is included on Pro and Premium. See Tiers and Features.

When to Use It #

Use the Digital Warehouse when:

  1. You want customers to see your stock availability without asking.
  2. You want to share inventory with selected partners only.
  3. You need to find a product in stock at another company, near a location.

Step-by-Step Guide #

  1. Open Digital Warehouse from the Company Profile section of the menu.
  2. Add an item. Enter the warehouse name (for example, Main DC), pick the location, link the product from your catalog, and add the primary item ID plus any equivalent IDs, the quantity and the availability.
  3. Choose who can see it. Turn on Public warehouse to let everyone see it, or share a warehouse with selected organizations. You can remove access at any time.
  4. Keep it current. Edit items one by one, or export your items, update them and upload them again.
  5. Search other warehouses (Pro and Premium) by product, organization, warehouse or location, with an optional distance radius.

Best Practices & Tips #

Do: #

  • Use the same item IDs your customers know, and add equivalent IDs.
  • Update quantities and availability regularly so partners can rely on them.

Don’t: #

  • Make a warehouse public if it holds stock reserved for specific customers; share it with them instead.

FAQs #

  • Who can see my stock?
    • Only your company, unless you make a warehouse public or share it with selected organizations.
  • Can I stop sharing?
    • Yes. Remove an organization’s access or turn off Public warehouse at any time.
  • Can I use the Digital Warehouse with my AI assistant?
    • Soon. The upcoming MCP Connector will let you ask about stock from your AI assistant on Pro and Premium.
  • How many items can I add?
    • Pro up to 100 items; Premium has no limit. Free and Basic can view warehouses but not add items.
