The Network Analysis feature allows you to examine the data you’ve entered across your supplier lists to better understand your supply chain structure and risks. You can analyze a single list or multiple lists simultaneously to gain deeper insights.
With Network Analysis you can:
- Identify single-sourced products (those that rely on only one supplier).
- Spot alternative vendors by overlaying multiple supplier lists and detecting overlaps.
- Pinpoint bottleneck vendors – suppliers that provide critical single-sourced products.
- Map country of origin to understand geographic concentration or exposure.
- Highlight your most important vendors based on their role, recurrence, and coverage.
- Measure recurrence levels to see how often vendors appear across your different lists.
Visualizations and metrics make it easier to detect dependencies, risks, and opportunities to diversify your network. This helps you take proactive steps to strengthen resilience and improve decision-making.
Loading Data #
At the top of the page you can select the list or lists you want to analyze. Once selected, click on Filter.
Network Graph #
The network graph represents a simplified version of your supply chain. It visualizes relationships between:
- Nodes: Representing products, vendors, or countries.
- Edges: Connections between these nodes.
While the current version offers a foundational view of your supply chain, its complexity can be expanded as more data becomes available.
Single-Sourced Products #
This section highlights products at risk due to being sourced from a single vendor. A list view makes it easy to identify and prioritize these products for diversification strategies.
Bottleneck Vendors #
A bottleneck vendor is defined as a vendor supplying single-sourced products. Such vendors represent significant risk and dependency. This section lists these vendors, enabling targeted mitigation actions.
