Overview #
Supply Chain Insights brings the key views of your supply network together in one Premium workspace, next to Disruption Simulation. It shows where your vendors and products come from, which products have limited or risky sourcing, and which catalog items have no active vendor, with a shortcut to Network Atlas.
Plans #
Included on Premium. Lower plans see a preview with a sample insight. See Tiers and Features.
When to Use It #
Use Supply Chain Insights when:
- You review supply risk across all your lists on a regular basis.
- You need to find products with only one vendor or a single sourcing country.
- You are preparing a Disruption Simulation and want to know where to start.
Step-by-Step Guide #
- Open Supply Chain Insights from the Network Analysis section of the menu.
- Select the lists you want to analyze and apply the filter.
- Review the vendor views: vendor locations (sites and geography for each supply list), vendors by country, and where vendors originate across your network.
- Review the product views: products with limited or risky sourcing (bottlenecks), catalog items without an active vendor path, and product sourcing countries.
- Go deeper: select Open Network Atlas to trace a dependency, or run a Disruption Simulation to test the impact of losing a supplier or country.
Best Practices & Tips #
Do: #
- Check bottleneck products first; they depend on the fewest vendors.
- Revisit the insights after you add vendors or update lists.
Don’t: #
- Ignore products without an active vendor; they cannot be sourced from your current network.
